Early in the week, the skies will be dotted with isolated showers, painting a patchy patchwork across the landscape. However, as the weekend approaches, a transformation will occur. These scattered storms will coalesce into a more widespread phenomenon, blanketing larger areas with their unpredictable showers. The once scattered clouds will gather into menacing formations and unleash their fury on the earth below. The rain will pour down in torrents, accompanied by the rumble of thunder and the blinding flash of lightning. The landscape is transformed into a watery canvas, with rivers bursting their banks and puddles forming on every surface. The relentless downpours will test the resilience of nature and human infrastructure. Roads become slippery from the water, making driving dangerous. Buildings will groan under the weight of the relentless precipitation. As the weekend progresses, the storm will reach peak intensity and leave a trail of destruction in its wake. But like all storms, this too will pass. As Monday approaches, the clouds will begin to clear, allowing the sun to gently peek through. The earth will gradually dry out, leaving only the memories of the tumultuous weekend that has passed.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Good Monday morning!

We start our week with HEAT and HUMIDITY – two things we are no strangers to at the moment.

The mid 90s will be our high temperature this afternoon, and the high humidity could make it more like the upper 90s and low hundreds.

Make sure you have extra water on hand, as it will be difficult to cool down quickly if it overheats.

Scattered storms are possible in the Big Bend and South Georgia areas Monday through Wednesday, but this will not be an outbreak.

Scattered storm chances mean more of us will have a chance of rain and storms later in the week over the weekend.
We will keep an eye on your weekend planning all week long!
