Local Qualifying Results for 2024 US Amateurs

The USGA has announced the dates and locations for its 43 local qualifying sites in 31 states, with one each in Mexico and Canada, scheduled from June 5 to July 3, 2024. Registrations open on March 27 and registration closes on May 29.

For the first time, qualifying for the US Amateur consists of two rounds instead of one 36-hole qualifying match. The final qualifying rounds will take place from July 17 through August, across 19 locations in 15 states.

The US Amateur Championship will take place August 12-18, 2024 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.

It is the second time that the tournament is held at this location. The first was in 2006 when Scotland’s Richie Ramsay secured the championship title with a 4 & 2 victory over John Kelly.

Nick Dunlap won the 2023 U.S. Amateur, sending him into the fall season in Alabama where he excelled and earned a sponsor invitation to the American Express PGA Tour event. He won the event and subsequently turned professional.
