Obituary of Lloyd Keyser – Annapolis, MD (1943-2018)

Lloyd Richard Keyser, PhD, 74, husband of Carol A. (Shupe) Keyser, Annapolis, MD, died Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Annapolis, MD. He was a former resident of Fulton, MD and Chestertown, MD. Dr. Keyser was born on October 21, 1943 in Norristown, PA, and was the only child of the late Garret K. and Mary B. (Tyson) Keyser. He was a graduate of Schwenksville (PA) High School, Ursinus College. He received his master’s degree and doctorate in economics from Temple University. Before retiring, Dr. Keyser worked for the Federal Housing Administration of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for more than 35 years. He previously worked for the Securities Exchange Commission. In addition to his wife, Dr. Keyser is also survived by his sons, David G. Keyser and his wife Suzanne White, Washington, DC, and Daniel R. Keyser and his wife Kelley (Fitzgerald) Keyser, Catonsville, MD; and his grandchildren, Jackson, Harrison, McKinley, Wesley and Sierra Keyser. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 311 2nd St., Schwenksville, PA. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
