Springfield woman arrested on active warrant, booked into correctional facility

SPRINGFIELD – A local woman was arrested after police confirmed she had an active arrest warrant, Springfield police said.

On June 10 at approximately 6:55 p.m., Cpl. Perkins saw Suzanne Rostan walking at the intersection of Valley Street and Common Street.

Perkins recognized Rostan as having an alleged active arrest warrant in the state and initiated an investigation to confirm the warrant.

After the warrant was verified, Rostan was taken into custody without incident at 7:26 p.m. She received a criminal summons to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, the following day, June 11, at 12:30 p.m. respond to the arrest warrant.

Rostan was subsequently booked into the Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
