88-year-old Mesa man missing

PHOENIX – A Silver Alert has been issued for an 88-year-old man who was last seen in Mesa Friday morning.

Robert Haymaker, 88, was last seen at his home near N. 92nd St & E. McLellan Road at 6:15 a.m. According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office news release, Haymaker was reported missing by his son at 3:38 p.m.

Haymaker is known to suffer from dementia, which can cause him to become confused and easily lost, according to the publication. He is five feet tall, weighs 165 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes.

Robert was last seen wearing a striped, tan and blue short-sleeved button-up, blue jeans with a western belt buckle and orange-soled Nike tennis shoes, according to the release.
