Ravizza, 26, of Chilmark, faces four counts of attempted murder and assault with a dangerous weapon in Braintree. He faces additional charges in Plymouth and may also be connected to an investigation in Connecticut.

The theater stabbing occurred first, around 6 p.m., when Ravizza entered AMC Braintree 10 in the 100 block of Grandview Avenue, walked past the box office, entered one of the theaters without paying and stabbed the four girls, without provocation and without warning, police said. He then fled the theater in a black SUV, police said.

The girls, aged between 9 and 17, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment, police said.

Police reports, first reported by Boston 25, detail the victims’ experiences at the movie theater, describing Ravizza as a character from a horror movie.

“He had a smile on his face that looked like it came out of a horror movie, he was creepy, he had lines on his face, his face was so alive and he laughed like the Joker,” one victim said.

According to police, around 7 p.m., Ravizza walked up to the drive-thru window of a McDonald’s in the parking lot at Exit 13 of Route 3 in Plymouth. After a dispute over payment, he stabbed two employees and fled south on Route 3.

Surveillance footage from the restaurant showed Ravizza stabbing a male victim with a large knife through the drive-thru window, then parking his car and going inside before stabbing a female victim, the district attorney’s office said. The employees, both in their 20s, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospitals, police said.

After Ravizza left the rest stop, state troopers attempted to pull over his SUV, but it failed to stop and instead crashed, police said. He was driving a 2018 Porsche Macan and was arrested in Sandwich around 7:15 p.m., the DA’s office said.

Ravizza is also connected to the murder investigation of West Hartford resident Bruce Feldman, 70, who was found dead in Deep River on the same day as the Massachusetts stabbings. He is charged with one count of murder, two counts of animal cruelty and criminal damage in Connecticut.
